Easter is a glorious feast of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. In Lviv, all believers will gather in churches for the Holy Liturgy and will consecrate Easter dishes.
You can join the sacrament and try Easter goodies from April 19 to May 12 at the Easter Fair. You can also experience the atmosphere of Ukrainian traditions and customs on Easter itself in the open-air museum «Shevchenko Hai».
On March 25 at the Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet will be an impressive event, which will combine modern instrumental music and extraordinary improvisation of leading virtuosos from different countries. It is the orchestra, whose members are number one in the current rating among performers on their instrument. At present, AlexFokinRadioBand is a unique orchestra of the so-called Swedish warehouse. Lviv Cheese and Wine Festival – the main autumn gastronomic Festival in Ukraine and a good opportunity to learn about the culture and tradition of both cheese and wine making in Lviv, visit fairs, concerts, contests, music band concerts and certainly taste good cheese and good wine. The programme includes several culinary workshops that will take place alongside musical performances and special games and contests for children. September 19th till 23th, an annual grand event will take place in Lviv – the 25th Forum of Publishers. This is the largest Ukrainian book fair and one of the most massive events of this type in Eastern Europe. The main expositions are located in the Palace of Arts and near the Pototsky Palace. Within 5 days, you will be able to visit 1000 cultural and educational events, communicate with well-known authors in person and buy their books. All Lviv is traditionally transformed into a “BookForum”, because event swill take place in 50 different locations of the city. The topic of the 25th Forum of Publishers in Lviv and the13th Lviv International Literature Festival will be “The Liberty Market”.

The greatest event Zaxidfest takes place near Lviv on August 24-26. Zaxidfest is a collection of popular music of various styles. Among the participants are such well-known Ukrainian bands as O.Torvald, Tartak, Odyn v canoe, ANNA, Bez Obmezhen’ and others.
The festival will be held on the territory of the recreational complex “Charivna Dolyna” in the village of Rodatychi, Gorodotsky district, Lviv region, 40 km from Lviv.
The territory includes festival area with three playgrounds, a festival campground, parking and food court.

LvivMozArt is an artistic project that will unite the best Ukrainian and world musicians.

One of the best jazz festivals in Europe according to “The Guardian” returns to Lviv and will be held for five days from June 27 to July 1, 2018.
The festival traditionally takes place on three stages: the main stage in the B. Khmelnitsky park – a scene of Eddie Rozner, a scene in the central square of Lviv – Market Square (free entrance) and a scene in the historic part of the city – the courtyard of the Potocki Palace (free entrance).
Also on June 28, at Market Square visitors can enjoy a fantastic concert of ONUKA.
In addition to concerts by jazz musicians from around the world, jam sessions, master classes and autograph sessions of world jazz stars are held during the festival.
